Altura does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There are no servers, no accounts and no analytics.
What Altura reads, and where it stays
With your permission, Altura reads hiking workouts, their GPS route and heart-rate samples from Apple Health, and looks for photos and videos taken during each hike in your photo library. All of this is processed on your iPhone. The route drawings, titles, filters and notes Altura creates are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, and are removed when you delete the app.
No servers, no accounts, no analytics
Altura has no backend. It does not create accounts, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not send crash reports or usage data to us. We never see your routes, heart rate, photos or notes.
Place names
To name your routes, Altura sends the coordinates of a few points of each route to the geocoding service built into iOS (Apple's CoreLocation). This request is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we never receive it.
Apple Intelligence
On supported iPhones, route titles and filters can be proposed by the on-device language model. Nothing is sent to Apple or to us.
Sharing
When you share a memory card, you choose where it goes. Altura only creates the image.
Permissions
You can revoke access to Health and Photos at any time in Settings. Altura never writes to Health. If access is not granted, Altura shows a built-in sample hike instead of your data.
Children
Altura does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Qué lee Altura y dónde se queda
Con tu permiso, Altura lee los entrenamientos de senderismo, su ruta GPS y las muestras de pulso de Apple Salud, y busca en tu galería las fotos y los vídeos hechos durante cada ruta. Todo eso se procesa en tu iPhone. Los mapas, títulos, filtros y notas que crea Altura se guardan únicamente en tu iPhone, en el almacenamiento propio de la app, y se eliminan al borrar la app.
Sin servidores, sin cuentas, sin analíticas
Altura no tiene backend. No crea cuentas, no usa SDK de analítica ni de publicidad, y no nos envía informes de fallos ni datos de uso. Nunca vemos tus rutas, tu pulso, tus fotos ni tus notas.
Nombres de lugar
Para bautizar tus rutas, Altura envía las coordenadas de unos pocos puntos de cada ruta al servicio de geocodificación integrado en iOS (CoreLocation, de Apple). Esa petición la gestiona Apple según su política de privacidad; nosotros nunca la recibimos.
Apple Intelligence
En los iPhone compatibles, los títulos y filtros pueden proponerlos el modelo de lenguaje del propio dispositivo. No se envía nada a Apple ni a nosotros.
Compartir
Cuando compartes una tarjeta de recuerdo, tú eliges adónde va. Altura solo crea la imagen.
Permisos
Puedes retirar el acceso a Salud y a Fotos en cualquier momento desde Ajustes. Altura nunca escribe en Salud. Si no concedes el acceso, Altura muestra una ruta de ejemplo en lugar de tus datos.
Menores
Altura no recoge a sabiendas información de nadie, incluidos los menores de 13 años, porque no recoge información en absoluto.
Cambios
Si esta política cambia, la nueva versión se publicará en esta página con la fecha actualizada.
